Abstract

The maxillary anterior teeth are highly prone to injury due to their anterior position in the arch and protrusive eruptive pattern. Such injuries can have a significant impact on a patient's appearance, function, and psychological well-being. The use of intra-canal posts in root canal treated teeth enhances the retention of subsequent restorations. Fiber posts, in particular, have a modulus of elasticity similar to dentin, which strengthens the remaining tooth structure and increases tooth fracture resistance. The present case report describes the successful rehabilitation of an Ellis Class II fracture using a fiber post and full coverage restoration.
