ARE LABIALLY PLACED CANINES AESTHETIC OR UNAESTHETIC? A SURVEY AMONG GENERAL PUBLIC

Aims & Objectives- This study aims to check the perception of public on the labially placed canine as lucky or unlucky and aesthetic or unaesthetic. Lots of people with highly placed canine feel that it is lucky and some feel it is not. Some feel it is esthetic and some feel it is not. This study helps the dentist to get a better understanding of what the patient feels about highly placed canine.
Materials & Methods- 70 people with highly placed canine were given a questionnaire to understand their perception of whether labially placed canines are aesthetic or unaesthetic and uses to know why are they lucky or unlucky.
Results &Conclusion- Most of the people exhibited that highly labially placed canine is lucky.
